Nah Nah Nah Nah, Hey Hey, Bye Bayh

Here in the midwest, people can't stop talking about Evan Bayh as a contender for Vice President. It looks like we're stuck with Obama, but I sure hopes he makes a better choice for VP. Unfortunately, here in Yahoo Crazyland Gimme My Guns USA, I think there's a very good chance the Veep could end up in the White House.

Is there anyone who doesn't know Bayh is an empty shirt, a panderer, a neocon in Democrat's clothing? He's made a career out of never doing or saying anything that might possibly be construed as offensive; he avoids taking a position on any issue until he's figured out the most meaningless, least controversial stance. I dunno -- is it the Dan Quayle Syndrome? "He's purty and just dumb enough..."

If Evan Bayh is the best the Democrats can do, maybe we deserve to lose again.
